This category recognises an in-house finance team or department that has successfully designed, led, and executed a significant financial project within their organisation. The project should demonstrate excellence in planning, innovation, and implementation, while delivering measurable impact on the business. Eligible projects can range from transformative finance initiatives, system implementations, cost-saving measures, process improvements, or strategic changes that enhanced financial operations or business outcomes. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.
- Team and Project Overview: Describe the finance team’s structure, roles, and the key objectives of the project.
- Planning and Strategy: Outline the planning processes and strategies used to prepare for the project, including timelines and resource allocation.
- Innovation: Highlight any innovative approaches, technologies, or methods that were introduced during the project that enhanced its effectiveness.
- Execution and Implementation: Summarise the steps taken to execute the project, including any challenges faced and how they were addressed.
- Impact and Results: Present measurable outcomes of the project, detailing specific metrics that demonstrate its success and overall impact on the organisation.
- Other Facts & Statements: Please include any other statements or facts that support your entry, including testimonials if possible.
