Richie Lennon, CEO and founder of Around Finance, was named Finance Leader of the Year at the Irish Accountancy Awards 2025 held earlier this year, recognised for redefining financial leadership through technology-driven strategy.

Lennon secured the award for advancing an AI-powered approach to financial decision-making that has reshaped how organisations interpret, model and act on financial data.

By embedding automation, real-time insights and strategic advisory services within financial reporting processes, he has enabled businesses to operate with greater clarity, efficiency and confidence in an increasingly digital economy. His work demonstrated tangible gains in reporting accuracy, workflow optimisation and management decision-support.

Judges highlighted Lennon’s sector influence and the maturity of his technology-led leadership model. “Richie Lennon’s forward-thinking approach to financial leadership is driven by innovation and technology,” the judges noted.
