EY has unveiled a suite of AI-driven solutions designed to elevate tax functions into data-driven, strategic operations.
The initiatives, EY.ai Tax Labs and EY.ai Tax Agent Factory, aim to provide faster insights, greater accuracy, and forward-looking decision support for tax professionals across global organisations.
EY.ai Tax Labs focuses on co-creating AI strategies with clients, helping address data challenges and complex tax issues. The Labs provide a flexible methodology encompassing exploration, solutioning, business case development, and delivery. This approach allows clients and EY professionals to collaborate on AI-led solutions tailored to each organisation’s unique context.
EY.ai Tax Agent Factory leverages agentic AI to automate multistage tax processes, identify patterns in financial data, and reduce manual intervention. The Factory enables tax teams to concentrate on strategic, high-value tasks while ensuring scalable, globally cohesive outcomes.
Marna Ricker, EY Global Vice Chair – Tax, said that in tax “there is no one-size-fits-all approach,” noting the firm’s commitment to “transforming the tax function of the future by leveraging the latest in AI and technology.” She added that EY’s focus is on working with clients to identify opportunities for innovation and provide forward-thinking solutions that enhance the value of tax operations.
Joe Depa, EY Global Chief Innovation Officer, emphasised that the initiatives give clients tools “to accelerate transformation and deliver greater strategic value from tax” by harnessing trusted, AI-ready data to achieve faster insights, smarter decisions, and scalable outcomes.
