Forvis Mazars has appointed five new partners across its Irish audit and consulting practices, reinforcing senior capacity in core accountancy, risk and advisory services.

Andrew Brennan, Aisling Callanan, Gemma Rocliffe and Ciara Finnegan have been promoted to audit partners, while Robert Burke joins the partnership as a consulting partner. The appointments support the firm’s continued expansion in Ireland following its merger with Cork-based James Byrne & Co in September 2024.

Brennan brings more than 12 years’ experience advising domestic and international asset management clients, including UCITS and alternative investment funds. Callanan, based in Galway, works with privately owned businesses and multinational subsidiaries across manufacturing, retail, construction, med tech and not-for-profit sectors, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Finnegan advises multinational and Irish-owned companies across manufacturing, retail, distribution and technology, with extensive experience auditing under FRS 102, FRS 101 and IFRS. Rocliffe specialises in structured finance and investment firms, with a strong focus on audit quality, technical training and complex accounting matters.

Burke strengthens the firm’s risk consulting capability, providing governance, internal audit, risk advisory and grant audit services across public and private sectors. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and holds a Diploma in Risk Management, Internal Audit and Compliance.

Managing partner Tom O’Brien said: “I am delighted to welcome five new partners to the partnership.” He added: “These appointments reflect our continued growth and ambition in the Irish market and underscore the talent and expertise we have built through sustained investment in training and professional development.”
