Baker Tilly Ireland has officially opened its new Dublin headquarters at Scotch House on Burgh Quay, Dublin 2, with Taoiseach Micheál Martin performing the opening ceremony alongside the firm's chief operating officer Vivian Nathan, marking a significant milestone in the firm's expansion since its establishment in 2024.
Business Plus reported that the new office occupies 3,450 sq ft of ground-floor space in Scotch House, a contemporary seven-storey Grade A office building fully refurbished in 2019 to LEED Gold, BER A3, and Wired Score Platinum standards. The move follows two years of strong growth since Baker Tilly Ireland was created through the acquisition of Irish firm Roberts Nathan by London-listed MHA plc.
Martin said: "This expansion is a strong vote of confidence in Ireland as a strategic location for international business and reflects the strength of our economy, our highly skilled workforce and our reputation as a global hub for financial and professional services. The accounting and professional services sector plays a vital role in supporting enterprise, investment and job creation across the country."
Martin added that firms like Baker Tilly make an important contribution to Ireland's economy by helping businesses grow, innovate, and compete internationally.
Nathan said: "Baker Tilly Ireland was established in 2024 and we're very happy with the performance of the business, which has grown strongly over this period. Today marks the beginning of the next chapter for Baker Tilly Ireland as we continue to expand and invest in the Irish market."
Baker Tilly Ireland is a member of Baker Tilly International, a global network of independent accountancy and advisory firms operating across more than 140 territories with combined revenues of $6.8bn (€6.3bn).
