Aprio, the 24th-largest advisory and accounting firm in the US, has launched a second office in Makati City, following its 2022 flagship site in Clark, signalling a major expansion of its Philippine operations.

The firm currently employs 400 staff in the Philippines and aims to grow to 750 by 2030, integrating local professionals across all service lines.

“The reason why we’re investing more into it is that our Philippines presence has grown very much from 2022 [when] we were at 75 employees… [in] 2025, we’re at 400 employees,” said Dave Kothari, Aprio’s global solutions delivery leader and partner.

Kothari noted that the Philippine team was initially tapped only by their tax practice but has now been embedded across audit, advisory, and wealth management services.

“We find that the skill sets, the education, and sometimes the culture of the Filipinos [are] very versatile, they’re eager to learn and do more,” he added.

Aprio’s advisory services cover valuation, transaction diligence, and technology implementation, while its wealth management department advises high-net-worth clients on asset allocation.

The firm has also expanded into legal services following the acquisition of a US-based law firm to provide a fully integrated client offering.

“Aprio Philippines’ rapid expansion, showcased with our new, strategically located office in Makati City, underscores our commitment to both our global clients and our Philippine team,” Kothari said.

He added: “By investing in our local office, we are not just expanding capacity, but we are strengthening collaboration and positioning Aprio to lead the next era of global transformation for our clients.”
